సోయను అధిపతులు బొత్తిగా మూర్ఖులు. ఫరో దగ్గర ఉన్న సలహాదారుల్లో అందరికన్నా జ్ఞాని అయిన వాడు ఇచ్చిన సలహా మతిలేనిదిగా కన్పిస్తుంది. ఫరోతో “నేను జ్ఞాని కొడుకును. నేను పూర్వ కాలంలోని రాజుల సంతతి వాణ్ణి” అని నువ్వు ఎలా చెప్తావు?

¶ Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?
