Tugu itu menjadi tanda bahwa bangsa Mesir beribadah kepada TUHAN Panglima Semesta. Maka ketika orang Mesir berseru meminta tolong saat mereka ditindas, TUHAN akan mendatangkan seorang pembela untuk menyelamatkan dan membebaskan mereka.
