ஏசாயா 18:2

கடல்வழியாகத் தண்ணீர்களின்மேல் நாணல் படகுகளிலே பிரதிநிதிகளை அனுப்புகிறதுமான தேசத்திற்கு ஐயோ, வேகமான தூதர்களே, அதிக தூரமாகப் பரவியிருக்கிறதும், சிரைக்கப்பட்டதும், துவக்கமுதல் இதுவரைக்கும் உயர்ந்து இருந்ததும், அளவிடப்பட்டதும், மிதிக்கப்பட்டதும், நதிகள் பாழாக்குகிறதுமான மக்களிடத்திற்குப் போங்கள்.

That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled!
