ఎందుకంటే హెష్బోను పొలాలు, సిబ్మా ద్రాక్షాతీగెలు వాడిపోయాయి. దాని శ్రేష్ఠమైన ద్రాక్షావల్లులను జాతుల అధికారులు అణగదొక్కారు. అవి యాజరు వరకూ వ్యాపించాయి, ఎడారిలోకి పాకాయి. దాని తీగెలు విశాలంగా వ్యాపించి సముద్రాన్ని దాటాయి.

For the fields of Heshbon languish, and the vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down the principal plants thereof, they are come even unto Jazer, they wandered through the wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are gone over the sea.
