સૈન્યોના યહોવાહે શપથ લીધા છે, “નિશ્ચિત, જે પ્રમાણે મેં ધારણા કરી છે, તે પ્રમાણે નક્કી થશે; અને મેં જે ઠરાવ કર્યો છે તે કાયમ રહેશે:

¶ The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:
