Jesaja 10:24

Daarom, zo zegt de Here, de Here der heerscharen: Vrees niet, o mijn volk, dat in Sion woont, voor de Assyriërs, wanneer zij u met de stok slaan en hun staf tegen u opheffen, zoals Egypte deed.

¶ Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.
