यशायाह 10:14

देश-देश के लोगों की धन-सम्पत्ति, चिड़ियों के घोंसलों के समान, मेरे हाथ आई है, और जैसे कोई छोड़े हुए अण्डों को बटोर ले वैसे ही मैंने सारी पृथ्वी को बटोर लिया है; और कोई पंख फड़फड़ाने या चोंच खोलने या चीं-चीं करनेवाला न था।”

And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.
