హోషేయ 7:16

వారు తిరిగి వస్తారు గానీ, సర్వోన్నతుని దేవుని వైపుకు తిరగరు. వారు పనికిరాని విల్లులాగా ఉన్నారు. వారి అధికారులు తాము పలికిన గర్వపు మాటల మూలంగా కత్తి పాలవుతారు. ఇలా వారు ఐగుప్తుదేశంలో ఎగతాళికి గురి అవుతారు.

They return, but not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.
