હોશિયા 4:12

મારા લોકો લાકડાંની મૂર્તિઓની સલાહ પૂછે છે, તેઓની લાકડીઓ તેઓને ભવિષ્યવાણીઓ કહે છે. કેમ કે અનિચ્છનીય સંગતે તેઓને અવળે માર્ગે દોર્યા છે, તેઓએ પોતાના ઈશ્વરને છોડી દીધા છે.

¶ My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.
