โฮเชยา 2:5

เพราะว่ามารดาของเขาเล่นชู้ เธอผู้​ที่​​ให้​กำเนิดเขาทั้งหลายได้​ประพฤติ​ความอับอาย เพราะนางกล่าวว่า ‘ฉันจะตามคนรักของฉันไป ​ผู้ให้​อาหารและน้ำแก่​ฉัน​ เขาให้ขนแกะและป่านแก่​ฉัน​ ทั้งน้ำมันและของดื่ม’

For their mother hath played the harlot: she that conceived them hath done shamefully: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink.
