వారి తల్లి కులట. వారిని కన్నతల్లి సిగ్గు లేకుండా ప్రవర్తించింది. ఆమె “నా విటుల వెంట పోతాను. వాళ్ళు నాకు అన్నపానాలు, ఉన్ని, జనపనార, నూనె, పానీయం ఇస్తారు” అనుకుంది.

For their mother hath played the harlot: she that conceived them hath done shamefully: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink.
