Je les tirai avec des liens d’humanité, avec des cordages d’amour, Je fus pour eux comme celui qui aurait relâché le joug près de leur bouche, Et je leur présentai de la nourriture.

I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them.
