ஓசியா 10:1

இஸ்ரவேல் பலனற்ற திராட்சைச்செடி, அது தனக்குத்தானே பழங்களைக் கொடுக்கிறது; அவன் தன் பழங்களின் பெருக்கத்திற்குச் சரியாகப் பலிபீடங்களை அதிகமாக்குகிறான்; தங்கள் தேசத்தின் செழிப்பிற்குச் சரியாகச் சிறப்பான சிலைகளைச் செய்கிறார்கள்.

Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.
