ഹോശേയ 10:8

യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പാപമായിരിക്കുന്ന ആവെനിലെ പൂജാഗിരികൾ നശിച്ചുപോകും; മുള്ളും പറക്കാരയും അവരുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങളിന്മേൽ മുളെക്കും; അവർ മലകളോടു: ഞങ്ങളുടെമേൽ വീഴുവിൻ എന്നും പറയും.

The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.
