OSEA 10:1

Israele è stato una vigna deserta; pur nondimeno egli ha ancora portato del frutto; ma, al pari che il suo frutto ha abbondato, egli ha fatti molti altari; al pari che la sua terra ha ben risposto, egli ha adorne le statue.

Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.
