ઇઝરાયલ ફાલેલો તથા ફળતો દ્રાક્ષાવેલો છે. તેણે ફળની અધિકતા પ્રમાણે, વધારે અને વધારે વેદીઓ બાંધી છે. તેની જમીનની ફળદ્રુપતાના પ્રમાણમાં, તેણે સુશોભિત પવિત્રસ્તંભો બનાવ્યા છે.

Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.
