Därför är den Smorde (Messias, Kristus) medlare för ett förnyat förbund, för att de som är kallade [oavsett nationalitet, se Apg 2:39] ska få det utlovade, eviga arvet, när han nu med sin död har friköpt oss från överträdelserna under det första [gamla] förbundet.
