Ötekiler ant içmeden kâhin olmuşlardı. Ama O kendisine, şu sözü bildirenin andıyla kâhin oldu: “Efendi ant içti, fikrini değiştirmez, ‘Melkisedek düzenine göre, sen sonsuza dek kâhinsin.’”
