​เหตุ​ฉะนั้นถ้าเมื่อจะถึงความสำเร็จได้ในทางตำแหน่งปุโรหิตที่สืบมาจากตระกูลเลวี (ด้วยว่าประชาชนได้รับพระราชบัญญั​ติ​โดยทางตำแหน่งนี้) ​ที่​ไหนจะต้องการให้​มี​​ปุ​โรหิ​ตอ​ีกตามอย่างเมลคีเซเดคเล่า ซึ่​งม​ิ​ได้​เรียกตามอย่างอาโรน

If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
