ヘブル人への手紙 7:11

さて、もしレビ系の祭司職によって完全に到達できたのだったら、――民はそれを基礎として律法を与えられたのです。――それ以上何の必要があって、アロンの位でなく、メルキゼデクの位に等しいと呼ばれる他の祭司が立てられたのでしょうか。

If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
