પ્રથમ પ્રમુખ યાજકોની માફક તે પોતાના પાપોને સારુ, પછી લોકોના પાપોને સારુ નિત્ય બલિદાન આપવાની તેમને અગત્ય નથી; કેમ કે તેમણે, પોતાનું અર્પણ કરીને એક જ વખતમાં એ કાર્ય પૂર્ણ કર્યું છે.

Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
