ส่วนมนุษย์นั้นต้องปฏิญาณต่อหน้าผู้​ที่​​เป็นใหญ่​กว่าตน และเมื่อเกิดข้อทุ่มเถียงอะไรกันขึ้น ​ก็​ต้องถือคำปฏิญาณนั้นเป็นคำยืนยันขั้นเด็ดขาด

For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.
