వాగ్దానానికి వారసులైన వారికి తన సంకల్పం మార్పు లేనిదని స్పష్టం చేయడానికి దేవుడు ఒట్టు పెట్టుకోవడం ద్వారా తన వాగ్దానానికి హామీ ఇచ్చాడు.
