హెబ్రీయులకు రాసిన పత్రిక 4:3

అయితే విశ్వసించిన మనమే ఆ విశ్రాంతిలో ప్రవేశించేది. రాసి ఉన్న దాని ప్రకారం లోకం ఆరంభం నుండి తన సృష్టి కార్యమంతా ముగిసినా ఆయన, “నేను నా తీవ్ర ఆగ్రహంతో శపథం చేశాను. వారు నా విశ్రాంతిలో ప్రవేశించరు” అన్నాడు.

For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
