હિબ્રૂઓને પત્ર 4:2

કેમ કે જેમ ઇઝરાયલીઓને તેમ આપણને પણ સુવાર્તા પ્રગટ કરવામાં આવેલી છે; પણ સાંભળેલી વાત તેઓને લાભકારક થઈ નહિ. જેઓએ ધ્યાન દઈને સાંભળ્યું તેઓની સાથે તેઓ વિશ્વાસમાં સહમત થયા નહિ.

For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
