Hebreerbrevet 2:14

Då nu barnen [Guds barn] är av kött och blod fick även han [Jesus] på liknande sätt del av detta [mänsklig natur], för att han genom sin död skulle förgöra (avsätta) djävulen som hade döden i sitt våld,

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
