ดังนั้นการตีสอนทุกอย่างเมื่อกำลังถูกอยู่นั้นไม่เป็นการชื่นใจเลย ​แต่​เป็นการเศร้าใจ ​แต่​ภายหลั​งก​็กระทำให้​เก​ิดผลเป็นความสุขสำราญแก่บรรดาคนที่ต้องทนอยู่​นั้น​ คือความชอบธรรมนั้นเอง

Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
