విశ్వాసాన్ని బట్టి దేవుడు హనోకును మరణం చూడకుండా తీసుకు వెళ్ళాడు. “దేవుడు తీసుకువెళ్ళాడు కనుక అతడు కనిపించలేదు.” దేవుడు తీసుకువెళ్ళక ముందు అతడు దేవుణ్ణి సంతోషపెట్టాడని అతని గురించి చెప్పారు.

By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
