హెబ్రీయులకు రాసిన పత్రిక 11:4

విశ్వాసం ద్వారా హేబెలు కయీను కంటే శ్రేష్ఠమైన బలిని దేవునికి అర్పించాడు. దీని వల్లనే అతణ్ణి నీతిమంతుడని పొగడడం జరిగింది. అతడు తెచ్చిన కానుకలను బట్టి దేవుడతణ్ణి మెచ్చుకున్నాడు. దాని వల్ల హేబెలు చనిపోయినా ఇప్పటికీ మాట్లాడుతున్నాడు.

By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
