విశ్వాసాన్ని బట్టి యాకోబు తాను చనిపోయే ముందు యోసేపు ఇద్దరు కుమారులను ఒక్కొక్కరుగా ఆశీర్వదించాడు. యాకోబు తన చేతికర్ర పైన ఆనుకుని దేవుణ్ణి ఆరాధించాడు.
