విశ్వాసాన్ని బట్టి అబ్రాహామూ, శారా ఎంతో వృద్ధాప్యంలో ఉన్నప్పుడు తమకు కుమారుడు కలుగుతాడని వాగ్దానం చేసిన దేవుడు నమ్మదగిన వాడని భావించారు కనుక శారా గర్భం ధరించడానికి శక్తి పొందింది.
