Heprealaisille 11:13

Nämä uskon ihmiset, joista olen kertonut, kuolivat ennen kuin olivat saaneet kaiken, minkä Jumala oli heille luvannut. Mutta uskon silmin he näkivät sen olevan odottamassa heitä ja olivat siitä iloisia. He näet tiesivät, ettei heidän oikea kotinsa ollutkaan maan päällä: he olivat täällä vieraita.

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
