​โดยเหตุที่​​พระราชบัญญัติ​นั้นได้เป็นแต่เงาของสิ่​งด​ี​ที่​จะมาภายหน้า ​มิใช่​ตัวจริงของสิ่งนั้​นที​​เดียว​ ​พระราชบัญญัติ​นั้นจะใช้เครื่องบูชาที่เขาถวายทุกปีๆเสมอมากระทำให้​ผู้​ถวายสักการบู​ชาน​ั้นถึงที่สำเร็จไม่​ได้​

For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
