சித்திரக்காரனுக்கு அவன் செய்த உருவமும், ஊமையான தெய்வங்களை உண்டாக்கித் தான் உருவாக்கின உருவத்தை நம்பினவனுக்கு வார்க்கப்பட்டதும், பொய்ப்போதகம் செய்கிறதுமான சிலையும் எதற்கு உதவும்?

¶ What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?
