Och det hände, i det 601:a året [1 + 600 år; av Noas livsdagar], i den första månaden, på den första [dagen], att vattnet hade torkat upp från jorden. Noa tog bort taket från arken, och såg, och se [hebr. vehinneh – perspektivbyte, vi får nu se med Noas ögon]: Marken hade torkat upp!
