യാക്കോബ് തന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരോടു ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചു തീർന്നശേഷം അവൻ കാൽ കട്ടിലിന്മേൽ എടുത്തു വെച്ചിട്ടു പ്രാണനെ വിട്ടു തന്റെ ജനത്തോടു ചേർന്നു.
