ઉત્પત્તિ 48:20

ઇઝરાયલે તે દિવસે તેઓને આ રીતે આશીર્વાદ આપ્યો, “ઇઝરાયલ લોકો તમારું નામ લઈને એકબીજાને આશીર્વાદ આપીને કહેશે, ‘ઈશ્વર એફ્રાઇમ તથા મનાશ્શા જેવો તને બનાવે.’ આ રીતે તેણે એફ્રાઇમને મનાશ્શા કરતાં અગ્રસ્થાન આપ્યું.

And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.
