उत्पत्ति 48:5

और अब तेरे दोनों पुत्र, जो मिस्र में मेरे आने से पहले उत्पन्न हुए हैं, वे मेरे ही ठहरेंगे; अर्थात् जिस रीति से रूबेन और शिमोन मेरे हैं, उसी रीति से एप्रैम और मनश्शे भी मेरे ठहरेंगे।

¶ And now thy two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, which were born unto thee in the land of Egypt before I came unto thee into Egypt, are mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine.
