ఇశ్రాయేలు అవసాన కాలం దగ్గర పడినప్పుడు అతడు తన కొడుకు యోసేపును పిలిపించి “నాపట్ల నీకు అభిమానం ఉంటే, నీ చెయ్యి నా తొడ కింద ఉంచి నాకు నమ్మకాన్నీ విశ్వాసాన్నీ కలిగించు. దయచేసి నన్ను ఐగుప్తులో పాతిపెట్టవద్దు.
