Zo maakte Josef het tot wet, die nog heden voor de akkers in Egypte geldt, dat een vijfde aan Farao moet worden opgebracht. Alleen het land van de priesters bleef uitgezonderd, omdat het niet van Farao was.

And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt unto this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth part; except the land of the priests only, which became not Pharaoh’s.
