ഉല്പത്തി 47:22

പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ നിലം മാത്രം അവൻ വാങ്ങിയില്ല; പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കു ഫറവോൻ അവകാശം കല്പിച്ചിരുന്നു; ഫറവോൻ അവർക്കു കൊടുത്ത അവകാശം കൊണ്ടു അവർ ഉപജീവനം കഴിച്ചതിനാൽ അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ നിലം വിറ്റില്ല.

Only the land of the priests bought he not; for the priests had a portion assigned them of Pharaoh, and did eat their portion which Pharaoh gave them: wherefore they sold not their lands.
