E Giuseppe, per istatuto che dura infino ad oggi, fece una imposta sopra le terre di Egitto, del quinto della rendita, per Faraone; sol le terre de' sacerdoti non furono di Faraone.

And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt unto this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth part; except the land of the priests only, which became not Pharaoh’s.
