GENESI 47:20

Giuseppe adunque acquistò a Faraone tutte le terre di Egitto; perciocchè gli Egizj venderono ciascun la sua possessione; conciossiachè la fame si fosse aggravata sopra loro; e così le terre furono acquistate a Faraone.

And Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the Egyptians sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them: so the land became Pharaoh’s.
