Zodra Jozef zijn broeders zag, herkende hij hen, maar hij deed alsof hij een vreemde voor hen was; hij sprak hen bits aan, en zeide tot hen: Vanwaar komt gij? Zij zeiden: Uit het land Kanaän, om voedsel te kopen.
