ஆதியாகமம் 3:16

அவர் பெண்ணை நோக்கி: “நீ கர்ப்பவதியாக இருக்கும்போது உன் வேதனையை மிகவும் அதிகப்படுத்துவேன்; வேதனையோடு பிள்ளை பெறுவாய்; உன் ஆசை உன்னுடைய கணவனைப் பற்றியிருக்கும், அவன் உன்னை ஆண்டுகொள்ளுவான்” என்றார்.

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
