ஆதியாகமம் 39:9

இந்த வீட்டிலே என்னிலும் பெரியவன் இல்லை; நீ அவருடைய மனைவியாக இருப்பதால் உன்னைத்தவிர வேறோன்றையும் அவர் எனக்கு விலக்கி வைக்கவில்லை; இப்படியிருக்கும்போது, நான் இத்தனை பெரிய பொல்லாங்குக்கு உடன்பட்டு, தேவனுக்கு விரோதமாகப் பாவம் செய்வது எப்படி” என்றான்.

There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?
