ఆదికాండం 38:17

అందుకు అతడు “నా మందలో నుండి ఒక మేక పిల్లను పంపుతాను” అన్నాడు. ఆమె “అది పంపే వరకూ ఏమైనా తాకట్టు పెడితే సరే” అని అంది.

And he said, I will send thee a kid from the flock. And she said, Wilt thou give me a pledge, till thou send it?
