ഉല്പത്തി 38:25

അവളെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നപ്പോൾ അവൾ അമ്മായപ്പന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ആളയച്ചു: ഇവയുടെ ഉടമസ്ഥനായ പുരുഷനാൽ ആകുന്നു ഞാൻ ഗർഭിണിയായിരിക്കുന്നതു; ഈ മുദ്രമോതിരവും മോതിരച്ചരടും വടിയും ആർക്കുള്ളതു എന്നു നോക്കി അറിയേണം എന്നു പറയിച്ചു.

When she was brought forth, she sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these are, am I with child: and she said, Discern, I pray thee, whose are these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff.
