યહૂદાએ એ વસ્તુઓને ઓળખી અને કહ્યું, “તે મારા કરતાં ન્યાયી છે, કારણ કે મેં તેને મારા દીકરા શેલાને પત્ની તરીકે ન આપી. તે પછી તેણે તેની સાથે સંબંધ બાંધ્યો નહિ.

And Judah acknowledged them, and said, She hath been more righteous than I; because that I gave her not to Shelah my son. And he knew her again no more.
