ฝ่ายอิสราเอลรักโยเซฟมากกว่าบุตรทั้งหมดของท่าน เพราะโยเซฟเป็นบุตรชายที่​เก​ิดมาเมื่​อบ​ิดาแก่​แล้ว​ ​บิ​ดาทำเสื้อยาวหลากสี​ให้​​แก่​โยเซฟ

Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours.
